Pin-lock gas in disconnect repair

Through a shear act of idiocy, I had a problem last night with a burr on one of my pin-lock posts. The burr scratched the plastic on the inside of the disconnect and it now slowly leaks. Does anyone know if there is a way to repair the scratches on the inside of the disconnect?

super glue or something similar may work, fill in the scratch let dry then sand smooth

maybe a couple wraps of teflon on the gas post so the connect fits snug?
