Pretty sure they were slow pouring Poetica at HF yesterday. Kevin pulled one for meWe had this conversation a few pages back, but the "slow pour" at Dovetail I find makes for a better beer due to the long lasting / amazing retention on the head of the beer.
However, it takes 45 seconds to a minute vs. 3 minutes + like you all are talking about. Still creates a bottleneck for the bartenders on a busy day / night.
Interesting. What you would call bite I would call harshness, while I think LO is a really good beer I prefer Palatine for the reverse reasonsOk, I am going to say it. While Suraez Palatine Pils is fantastic, I think, for my taste, Live Oak is still my favorite. It is a little more full in the mouthfeel dept. and has more bite to it, which I really like. ******* it Texas, y you so far away.
Low carb (crowler issues?) but damn tasty.

Ha. Well wrong pic. But otherwise. Are we being punked?
12Anyone know how many 12oz cans fit in a USPS medium flat rate?
Not sure about your sizing question, but I would absolutely take you up on this offer if you have enough to go around. I've been wanting to tick both the pilz and hefe for quite some time now.Anyone know how many 12oz cans fit in a USPS medium flat rate? Local place had TX beer 20% off, so I bought 6 x 6 packs of Pilz and 2 x 6 packs of Hefe. Could easily send 4-5 boxes out at cost, cans came to basically $1.20 each.

Alright, I'll do 5 packs (6 x LO Pilz and 2 x LO Hefe) for $10. The first 5 people who mentioned wanting some (BadJustin, Espeer, ChaQuiseman, nothingisreal, NeedsMoreDog) can send me a message. I can do USPS flat rate for $14 or you can send me a label, and if any of y'all pass I'll open it to others. I'll do this again next time it goes on sale, but I feel like 5 boxes at once is a good start.

Not super fresh, but couldn't resist sending our local only SN.
I see you liking my posts wuntrikpony. I know you are east coast life now and rep that Suarez, but this batch of AP is legit. Seek it out.
I’ll be back ASAP for dat pils.
Hmu? I have a mtn bike now. Can we ride and drink pils?
t's funny to see ABGB at #1 too. I always seem to forget about them and I work 5 minutes away, lol. They crowler now too, so I guess the next pilsner boxes I send will have to have some.https://www.pastemagazine.com/artic...est-pilsners-blind-tasted-and-ranked.html?a=1
Some really surprising misses in there, especially Weihenstephaner and Urquell for classics
