Thanks guys. A couple expected spots which is good. I need to make sure they serve Miller Lite I guess too.

We decided to just do Tap House Logan for football. Most tvs, convenient location, and pretty big. Not the best in terms of food, beer, or pricing compared to the others, but it'll do. Just to be sure, though, does anyone know if they have Miller Lite or whatever in bottles? My friend only drinks that apparently.

Does he also not have a phone in addition to his crappy taste in beer?
I tried twitter and their website! I was going to call but am just lazy at the moment. Hell, I'm across the street from there, I could just walk over. But really I just thought this thread is boring.

Trying to spice it up a little too....

Just not sure this is the right audience to ask about Miller lite bottles.

Still haven't been over to Crime and Punishmebt. What has the general opinion been?

Thoreau Like A Girl probably has a more developed opinion than mine, but it's been averageish to me. They aren't bad, but none of their beers have been particularly impressive. The Grodzskie is good though it's a smoked sour so a bit odd. Their gose was kind of terrible and even the cherry berliner just wasn't very flavorful. No comment on food as I haven't had any. Probably good though since it's pirogies and sausage.

3 different berliner-ish offerings and im only learning about this place now? Wow I suck.

Just heard that North Star was sold and will be closing for renovations and opening under a new name. The article I saw said the new owners will be offering "better food" and "even better beer." I really hope this becomes a go-to place for Fairmount/Brewerytown. We could definitely use some better beer options.

Huh. Will it still be a music venue? This would have been nice when I lived basically across the street from it. Not that I'm far now, but I never go in that direction.

Also, to those concerned, City Tap House has bud light bottles apparently.

I think the music venue is closing and they will be opening an outdoor beer garden. I never really make it north of Brown, but I'd certainly be willing for the right spot.

Interesting. People will be disappointed about the music part closing down but oh well. A nice bar / restaurant should well there.

Their booking has been horrendous ever since they switched booking people a couple years ago. I havent been to a show there in prob 3+ years. Which is saying a lot considering I was there about once a week for shows circa 2005-2010.
Kinda cant say im sad to see them becoming something else
