You got a name, friend, or should I just walk around screaming "yo talkbeer"

Worked with me too =D

Something about this exchange makes me feel like there should be a Talk Beer dating thread. Like, there have got to be enough single folks of all genders and orientations that are into craft beer at this point to try and hook some like-minded folks up.

Imagine this: "25F, ISO: M age 25-30 w/; FT: My company and bottle of 2015 Grrrz Kriek"

Like it could be a dating/two-person bottle share kind of thing.

Either I'm nuts or brilliant.

There are (more than a handful of) women that use this site??

Cambridge sucked but I guess I should have checked this thread first..

Who did I meet at Monks? I'm the guy that sat at the table with mussels, Apricot Funker, and tried to order a loon but got shut down by the lady that came over... I met Sam and some others whose real life names escape me

Shut down why? Was thinking about going to get myself a birthday present tomorrow

1 per table, and people (including me) kept showing up after one was ordered. I could split one if you're simpatico, que pasa?

That was my plan so I didn't have to drive out to churchville Sunday. Wouldn't mind trying that apricotfunker too.

Anyone around tomorrow at 4?

I spotted this on Monk's website tonight...

"Elysian Omen

SEATTLE: This will be the last keg of Elysian Monk's Cafe will carry. They sold to Anheuser-Busch in April. Co-founder and head brewery, Dick Cantwell, resigned because he will not compromise his principals. He is a good friend of mine and I stand with him in opposing the international brewing conglomerates gobbling up true craft breweries. I'm sure Dick will remain a leader in the craft beer movement.

This is a Belgian-style stout with raspberries. 7.9%abv.
You won't see me drinking this beer because it will leave a bitter aftertaste in my psyche.

Way to stand your ground Dick Cantwell! I'm proud to have you as a friend. "
