Couldn't agree more. I just wanted to prepare him for the fact that there won't be anything really hard to find, which I think people unfairly expect out of Monk's.

That's what I also stumbled across in my searches, as long as they have those bottles. Willing to splurge a little, been waiting for this good news for a while now.

Honestly didn't think Monk's would have much after the PtY day, so thought I'd ask. They are probably so well known though that it's unfair to assume they always have a top notch selection.

Not sure how accurate the list is online but last time I was in there were some lambics in the cooler. Also 430-630 most drafts are half off for happy hour if youre going earlier.

Can't be any worse than your typical bottle release. Besides...they'll have two locations to run things at at the same time. And the new place seats like 5x the number of people the current location does. Should be fine.

I've had LP Kriek from a keg at Monk's before, so it doesn't sound entirely outside the realm of possibility
