The directions on PBW are by weight. Such as 1 to 2 oz per gallon. I wondered how many teaspoons of powder are an ounce? Looking up the MSDS sheet the density is listed as 64 lbs per cubic foot. Converting for ounces and teaspoons I get 5.61 teaspoons per ounce or 1.87 tablespoons per ounce. This made things easier for me. Hope it is helpful.

Sweet thank you, this is quite helpful. I hate busting out the scale for cleaning, and usually just prefer to bring the measurer.
