Wanted to get some ideas on what I could do while I waited for my first brew to ready?

I'm a personal trainer by day and wanna be beer master at night - I pass time by looking up workouts and at hot fitness girls on Tumblr

Here's a sample
Of both

Check out recipes for the next beer planned, brew more beer, bottle beer, drink beer, buy ingredients to make beer:D:mug:

Usually have three or four brews on the go at various stages of fermentation. Right now have two 5.5 gallon batches and two 2.5 gallon batches. About 18 gallons bottled, carbonating, conditioning/ready to drink.

Miss green pants looks to have a rather spectacular physique:tank::rockin:

Watch out for the overly PC and, no doubt, testosterone challenged on here chastising you about your objectification of women:D:mug:

Haha "objectification of women" that's funny!!

Why you say that?

ALL women are wonderful!!!

What was your second brew? Do you have a personal fav?

Please refer to our forum rules.

First, this thread is off-topic and should NOT be in a beginners beer making forum. It can go in the "general chit chat" or "drunken mumblings" forum if it's not beer making related.

Secondly, **** images are NOT permitted in the General forum. There are other places for that. The **** images have been removed.

Second brew ever?? I started off with Mr.Beer kits and the Sticky wicket oatmeal stout was my second attempt.

Favourite? Can't really limit myself to only one but probably brew more ESBs, IPAs and Pale Ales than anything else, with the odd Dry Stout and Heffeweissen/Witbier.

I don't understand what you meant about my images not being safe for work?

Where do you work? What kind of boss do you have? Does he look over your shoulder and monitor you like a schoolboy? Why were you in command of my thread and took it upon your self and force your opinion on my personal subject matter?

Your whole reply threw me for a loop and I would just like to clear some things up

I am sorry if your work place is a bunch if fuddy duds who have no fun!! This forum on the other hand should be free and fun without the worry of walking on egg shells who's workplace is being offended IMO

GT... Yooper is a moderator of this forum and it's bad form to argue with a mod about what is and isn't allowed in the forum after only being here a month. I don't think you made the rules. We just have to live by 'em or go somewhere else. The forum is meant to be family friendly. There are also categories for what should be put where. The mods help make sure people put posts in their proper place.

Thanks ChshreCat, i don't mean to argue with anybody - I am just trying to gather opinions here on this beer forum to help myself and hopefully others brew some better beer

my tune? are you serious lsPaul?
thanks for the $.02 bubba
I'll go check out some older post today

Has anyone ever seen a REAL chick in here?

No, it's an Internet Discussion Board. All I've ever seen are pictures.

Of course I've seen some of the women who post on here. And drank their awesome beer.

What do I do while I wait for my beer to ferment? Just my daily life. Family, video games, and when I have time, the latest Homebrewing DIY. Currently that's building the control panel for my EHERMS brewing rig, due to be completed this summer.

Good idea - I haven't even really made it to the DIY much, just my 3/4 PVC elbow piece for my bottling bucket - they say you can get another 6pack out of the bottom using that little $.97 piece!!

I just tilt the bucket and work the wand with my knees and hold the bottle with my calves.

Worse for you, "bubba" would be namecalling.

Please refrain from namecalling as well.

If you want the kind of forum where racy photos in the general family friendly forum are allowed, and you want to be snide to other members, I have a feeling that this forum is not a good fit for you.

We are a very friendly place, but we expect everybody to follow the rules (https://www.homebrewtalk.com/faq.php?faq=vb3_board_faq#faq_rules_regulations) and treat others with respect.

I'm sort of like a den mother- I'm going to remind everybody to "treat others the way you would like to be treated", and remind others to follow the rules that we have for behavior in this forum.

Yeah I've seen a few pics of chicks on here, there's a couple chicken raising threads here.

I've also seen pairs of tits,

davies-albums-general-pics-picture50790-birds.jpg

And nice pairs of ****ies as well.

Now if you're asking if there are any women Brewers on here, I can verify that I have met at least three of the women of Homebrewtalk, and had beer with them over the years.

And if your asking if women brew, in my local brewing circle, we have several women, one's even a nationally ranked bjcp judge.

Came in for an answer to the OP

Stayed for the **** images

All I got was this stupid argument.

@ the OP, the best thing to do is buy more fermenters and brew another batch.

" I have a feeling that this forum is not a good fit for you."

"We are a very friendly place, but we expect everybody to follow the rules "

"I'm sort of like a den mother- I'm going to remind everybody to "treat others the way you would like to be treated"

I appreciate you moderating my conduct on this forum - I was unaware of the specific rules and regulations that have been created but thanks to your guidance I am most informed now

I also appreciate your "opinion" of what's right and wrong especially if you take it upon yourself to devote personal time policing and governing the material associated with this free forum. You have made your personal opinion very clear when you took it upon yourself to delete my material that no one else saw or voted on to be foul & discrete

If you walk with a big stick on this forum & feel obligated to swing it at new people like myself from time to time bc you personally feel like i stepped out of line then so be it. I guess it's your world here and I'm just squirrel

I hope you have a good day today and you find something that brings you pleasure and happiness albeit if it means busting somebodies butt on the forum and making their quest of seeking knowledge and wisdom from experienced brewers a negative situation

While my beers ferment, life goes on. I rap with y'all, run errands, including to the lhbs. pay bills, etc. When that's done, occasional beer run ensues. And after all that, more talking with y'all & some beers. I gave up drinkin the vodka & save it for the airlocks. I even store it in the fermenter stand/storage unit. That thing is approaching crytical mass, however.
By & large, being retired also affords me more time researching & playing with recipes in beersmith to learn more about how the program works.
All this while fermenting...:tank:
*& take it easy on da yoop. As a mod she's obligated to keep things family friendly. This site is loads better than many other sites I've been to for just about anything. This is why. I for one appreciate it. Some of these start out far worse & look to be the work of trolls. So don't feed them is policy around here. Not saying you are, just stating the facts as they are.

Thanks - i apologize for the argument looking thread, NOT my intention here

Making a great first impression on here, aren't you?

I can say that one thing not to do while waiting for your beer to ferment is to take on a mod, especially one as respected and beloved as Yooper....May I suggest you look at recipes and the DIY section of the forums instead, and perhaps drink some craft beer and maybe read about some of the different styles of beer, and taste some of those to decide what beers you do want to brew?

Whenever someone new argues with a moderator, I just have to subscribe. Those are the best threads
