Hey guys, I have my potable hot water garden hose hooked up to my hot water (turned all the way up 130F-150F), can I use this hot water to rinse my grains for the partigyle brew. Because this is a 3rd running's and I have a full paint strainer bag of hops (10oz) from the last boil can I use them for bittering? I've already done this so I'll find out one way or another. The first running's came in a 1.078 and the second 1.045 OG...12gallons/6gallons. I bumped the second up to 1.050 with a pound of candy sugar.
Any tips to do this better?

seems like you can. tho the candie sugar seems odd to me, most candied sugar is in the invert sugar catagory. meaning im drunk and cant spell, and that sugar cant make booze. but not sure if thats the type of candy your working with. but for a rinse on a second running,, seems ok to me...you may need someoen less drunk tho..fyi
