Looking for some critique of this recipe. Will be brewing in approx. 2wks.

Batch Size 5 Gal
OG 1.055
FG 1.012
ibu 22.7
Color 21.4

2lbs. 2-Row Pale Malt
3 lbs. Light DME
1 lb. Flaked Oats
8 oz. Victory Malt
1 lb. Crystal 60L
4 oz. Molasses
4 oz. Chocolate Malt

Mash at 154 for 45 Min.
Mash out 168 for 20 min.

.5 oz. E.K Goldings 60 min
1 oz. E.K. Goldings 30 min
.5 oz. E.K. Goldings 5 min

Using 1 pkg. Fermentis US-04 Yeast rehydrated Will try to ferment around 65 degrees. (hoping not to get too warm in my basement as I don't have a second fridge with temp control)

My main question is do I need the crystal and, if so, is 1 lb. too much?

Thanks and happy holiday weekend to all!

It looks pretty tasty to me. I had made a similar recipe a month ago and had 1lb of crystal.
Instead of molassas i used Brown sugar and i used wlp005 english ale(i love this yeast).
It turned out great! The molassas in the brown sugar really came out.
