So im brewing up a pale ale this weekend (7 gallons) and doing 3 gallons with brett b and the rest with conan. I wanna use what I have laying around and came up with this hop schedule. Is this too many different types mixed together? the descriptions seem to me that they could go well together, but I havent used most of these varieties before. Any help would be great!

1 oz Cluster @ 60 min
1 oz Simcoe @ 5 min
1 oz caliente @ 5 min
1oz Simcoe @ 1 min
0.5 oz Millennium @ 1 min
0.5 oz Willamette @ 1 min
0.5 oz Nugget @ 1 min
1 oz simcoe Dry Hop 5 days (only in conan half)
1 oz Cluster Dry Hop 5 days (only in conan half)

I do have some other options. I still have 3 more ounces of simcoe, 2 oz of perle, and 1 oz bravo. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

More recently, I have been doing bittering hops at 60mins, then I add my flavor/aroma after the boil, once the wort has cooled below 180F. This is for my hop-centered beers. I also add dry hops. I have been much more pleased with these results than with late and flameout additions. Again, in my hop-centered beers. For my more balanced beers, I like using additions at 60, 30, and 15 minutes to whatever IBU's I'm shooting for.

I've never heard of Caliente and have not used Cluster. Looking up their profile and considering the other hops you have, it all sounds good and worth trying for me. I really like Simcoe, but never alone. I have to blend it with something more earthy or spicy. I like that your hops include a little of citrus, pine, herbal, and other properties.

Thanks for the response. I agree about simcoe alone as I did a BIPA with all simcoe was really disappointed with the lack of flavor/aroma, despite using a lot of late/dry hops.
