Anyone use this before? The shop is buy at ran out of rahr and briess but had just gotten this in. I bought a 50lbs bag. Just wondering if anyone has heard of it before and if so is it good malt? I have never heard of it but they claim it's just as good as the others.
Thanks

Awesome. Thanks. I usually don't buy stuff without knowing about it first but that's all they had. He claimed that it was just as good but also it depends on the maltster

I love it, it's the only 2 row I use these days. I think it tastes even better than Briess and it's very clean, not filthy and full of twigs like Rahr

I'll chime in as well, I will only buy GW base malts. I've tried Briess and didn't get the mash efficiency that I wanted. Currently I have the Premium Select Pale and the American Pale. I get better mash efficiency and it costs less than Briess.

Love the pale ale malt. Briess can't hold a candle. It also depends on the yeast. If you use a clean yeast that strips away all malt character, than going with Briess will be less of a difference.

This is great to hear. So I guess that guy there was not pulling a fast one on me haha

It is my base malt for my IPA that won an metal. It's good stuff
