Hey all,

We just got thru having a pretty great party, and I brought about 3 dozen oysters that now I have all the shells for.
My question is can I now make an Oyster Stout using only those shells or do I need the WHOLE oyster really in order to get the true flavor one looks for in an Oyster Stout?

Thanks for any help here!

I just made a dry Irish stout with 5-6lbs of oyster shells. I'll keep you posted on the results
