HOWDY!
well, i finally found a place for my fermentation fridge in my small man cave... going to throw yeast on my fruitcake ale tonight. so i need to start onto the pipeline!
so i think i want to make a few quick simple pale ales and IPAs and maybe a porter or 2.
however, i bought these hops about 4 months ago and hadn't had a chance to use them yet...
So, lets make this fun! i want to keep it around 5-6% or so.
each reply, name the poundage of type of grain, lets do 4 of those.
each reply after that, we will do a hop, oz and schedule
for example
1st reply
8lbs 2row
2nd reply
3lbs flaked barley
etc.
then for hops
-1oz simcoe 60min
2nd reply
-3oz centennial 15min
etc etc
hops to "waste" are
1lb centennial
1lb cascade
1lb simcoe
rules...
more then 4% less then 8%.
no crazy hoppage! (eg. 10oz simcoe @60mins)
only those hops apply as i would like to use them before they go tits up.
ibus... something above 40 but below 90
annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd go! :fro:
