What sort of work do you guys and gals do? What other crafts do you pursue?

I work for one of the largest banks in the world. I also homebrew (obviously), garden, make soap, cook, and do woodworking.

I'm interested to hear from you guys.

I draw all the things, for a living. Well, specifically I work for an aerospace company designing very small things. In spare time, I design buildings for fun and sometimes for small donations. My designs are often based on sustainable living with a lot of greenspace. I have one hops plant (nugget) that I care for on my parents property; I like to go visit it and have plans drawn up for a beer garden structure to grow more plants on as well as store supplies to support an outdoor kitchen. I play trumpet and bass guitar, but haven't figured out how to play them at the same time. Every now and then I entertain the idea of enjoying video games, and end up bored soon after starting. I like to cook, I hate politics, I do not enjoy long walks on the beach, rock climbing is cool, rock collecting is lame, and I one day hope to open a bring your own food tap house.

I'll send you hops. Make me hop soap!

I play trumpet and bass, too, along with piano, guitar, and bagpipes!

All of my soap molds are full. I really want to make some hop soap though!

I issue the permits that ultimately make that ^ guys designs unsustainable.

I'm in Shipping/Receiving for a soap company. Between work, school (for craft brewing essentials/business certificate), brewing every week, odd jobs/events the wife plans for me, and our 1 year old daughter, I'm lucky if I can find 20mins of blissful silence to call my own.
When I do find a spare moment, I enjoy playing guitar and the Irish tin whistle.

I work for UCSD as a Chief PET Technologist at one site and work at PET/CT on Mondays. So in other words I start IV's and shoot people up with radiation before imaging them.

Back on topic: In addition to drinking beer faster than I can make it, I also like motorcycles, guns, video games, cooking, reading, and outdoorsing.

Outdoorsing.

I go to school, work full time at a certain swedish furniture retailer, roast coffee, make yogurt, sleep, drink, eat things, work on my blog/biabcalculator (first page on google!), and working on an android app.

I had a job that allowed me to go outdoorsing once, but that was a long, long time ago. Now the only time I get to see that place is on the news so it sounds horrible. I can only assume this is what it looks like now:

If you beat the Super Mutant and the Mirelurk in the clocktower building, you'll find a fat boy and mini nuke in the break room oven.

Work is overrated, so won't bore you with those details. But at least I have a job.

I train in the Korean sword art of Kumdo (basically Kendo) and Kumbup, hunt, canoe, traditional archery (recurve), guns, cook, play with my kid, gardening, rebuild and cruise in old boats (i.e. huge cars), piloting RC planes/helis, drinking... and that's about it.

It's enough.

I fish. I have a several boats and a myriad of fishing rods. Lots and lots of fishing gear. That is my number one hobby.

I have a job too. That entails fitting hearing aids.

Also I like to snowmobile in the winter. I love winter.

Civil Engineer. Fishing is my other passion, and besides family time (I’m required to say that) is the only thing I willingly do over homebrewing. Basketball is a close third. Also enjoy gardening, woodworking, and pretty much learning anything I can DIY and save money on to be spent on above-said hobbies.

You guys all have great Match.com profiles. I'd date ya if I wasn't already married.
I'm a lab rat, work in cancer research.
Love to mountain bike, cook, workout, go to gigs when I can which is not very often with a 6 month old little baby. It seems like there's always something to fix in the house and between cleaning and cooking, I have very little 'me' time.

I love sailing and get to offshore a couple weeks a year.. in fact a couple weeks I am helping a friend to take his boat to Grenada <a href="http://s1135.photobucket.com/user/eric97217/media/pic20047_zpsk8xnqxjf.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/m636/eric97217/pic20047_zpsk8xnqxjf.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo pic20047_zpsk8xnqxjf.jpg"/></a>

I rock and roll all night and party every day. I also supervise facilities for a lighting and ceiling fan manufacturer, play bass and guitar badly, and volunteer in youth ministry at my church.

I tin whistle.....:cross:

Work- High voltage laboratory

Play- cooking, drawing, painting, tattooing, designing electronics, spending time with the family, and foster for a schnauzer rescue.

I work in one of the big 3 auto companies in electric vehicle research.

For fun, a lot of wood working and fixing up an old house.

Oh yeah, and video games. Lots of those. I brew indoors, and do extra long mashes if I don't feel like pausing my game.

Work as a line operator in a food packaging factory.

At home I play in the kitchen, do woodworking, repair and restore old tractors, and garden like crazy in the short summer.

I have almost achieved my goal of going to meetings for a living. Occasionally, I also attend classes and training. When one of my many actual jobs gets in the way, it usually involves wastewater treatment.

For fun, I kayak, fish, read, play video games and hang out here.
