Yep, my pale ale kicked 2 days ago. I have Jamil's Chocolate Hazelnut Porter in the kegerator, but it's pretty awful. I may have used too much extract, or the wrong kind/brand, but it really needs to be blended with another plain porter to be drinkable (IMO anyway).
I *think* I will have time this weekend to brew, so I need to get cracking on a recipe that can turn around pretty quick. I haven't done an IPA in a while and it's crossed my mind. It's also Brown Ale season. I have Founder's Breakfast Stout clone in secondary that can go into the keg soon, so that will help, but I need a pale beer to balance my taste buds.
Any suggestions? I am thinking about another 2-hearted clone, but I might throw some citra in there or something. (Got lots of citra!)
