We went for an imperial red for our first scratch partial mash. Our very first brew was from a can so we could figure out the process.
We under fermented our Imperial Red by about a week as a beginners mistake, but once we bottled and let it set, the taste came out pretty damn immaculate. It's a bit heady and extremely carbonated (due to lack of fermentation prior to bottling) but for our first real batch of beer... It's damn good! Came out to about 6.9% ABV. Looks great too!
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on here for the useful information. Prost, brothers.
