Wow!! Looks like you threw EVERYTHING in there!

mmmmmm I need a good curry right now. I don't feel proper English if I ain't eating something foreign! :D

Are they chops???? I can't tell the cut of the lamb...

Damn you goblin...I have lamb in the freezer...but I planned on doing something else for dinner...but there's always tomorrow...

So yes indeed...post the recipe please.

:D

Do I see red and yellow onion, mustard seeds, sliced chillies, and curry powder?

How'd I do? I can't even begin to guess what the three grey bits are. Dried mushrooms?

This is fun :)

Recipe :

A good size lamb chop

For the marinade.
Root ginger
Garlic cloves
Onion
Fresh Chilli
Lemon Juice
Cassia Bark
Cardamom Pods
Mustard Seeds
Corriander seeds.
Black Pepper
Salt.
Malabar Masala.
Corriander, Chilli, Aniseed, Gram Dhal, Tumeric, Salt, Curry Leaf, Mustard, Black pepper, Garlic, Cinnamon, Fenugreek, Cardamom, Nutmeg, Star Anise, Cloves, Val Chilli.

Leave to marinade at room temp for 30 minutes. Turn and push into the mix a couple of times.
Remove the lamb from the mix. Rub cleanish.

Add ghee to a pan and add the dry rub. Heat until it gets fragrant and the seed crack.
Reduce the heat and add the lamb to the pan.

I've not decided on the next step yet!!!!!
I'll update you.

I don't think I did too bad... Didn't hurt that I had watched an indian cooking show this morning ;) or that I only got the easy spot ingredients!

Looks nice. Do you expect it to be HOT!

Add water to deglaze

Then Cream

Finish in a low oven.
