Hey fellow homebrewers,
I am working on my next brew and am decided to try a medium bodied IPA with intense orange bright color with orange peel. I want a very subtle or not existent malt profile. Hop combo: centennial + galaxy + topaz. So I ask:
1) When should I add orange peel for flavor/aroma and how much of it? Would it change the beer to the point of stepping out of the style?
2) What grain bill do you think would create that deep yet bright orange color? What about 80% Pale Ale, 10% Caramunich II, 10% carared?
I am not really sure about trying the orange peel, so please help me with that. General tips about this recipe? Thanks a lot :fro:
