Would that actually be legal? I presume in some states yes, others no.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There's certainly multiple beer bars in Europe that started that way. Tørst seems to have taken a similar, but not entirely identical, approach but got smacked down. If you kept it a little quieter, maybe you get away with it. Who knows?

Im thinking this seller works for the home shopping network. So many clutch phrases in 1 post:

-"1 of only probably a few left in circulation" - i had no idea beer was circulated like currency when its probably one of a few
-"the one that started it all" - well thank God we finally have something to blame beer stupidity on
-multiple nods to it being the first release
-sob story finisher to make to you feel good about having your bum stretched for a beer im sure tastes turrible***

*** i hope im not making fun of someone with a health issue but i just looked and this person sold some new money TG **** at redic pricing so im not sure i believe the "reasoning" behind this sale

He has told me that that is not his account and he doesn't even have his CCK anymore.

I think the "06x2" is the name of the batch. It's not saying he has 2 bottles of batch 6. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. After all this is the internet.

Oh I totally missed that. Correct, that is batch number. I have a Temptation 05X2E right here. But that makes sense as to why it would seem like it was more than 13 bottles. Sadly, it isn't. I'm not thinking it would sell at half that price but it only takes one.

There's absolutely no way to know whether a bottle was stored properly until you open it right? So anyone can say that with almost no repercussions. I ignore all variations of reading "cellared properly" unless that person is known to have some crazy temp-controlled cave.

Or unless you know the party in question. IE I know that if I'm getting a beer from some particular folks in Chicagoland that it will have been in an offsite wine cellar for the majority of it's life. About as good as you can get with regards to cellaring conditions.

Wait, what are the signs that a beer has been cellared improperly? I was under the impression that as long as you kept your bottles in a cool place and out of sunlight, they would be perfectly fine for a long time (except for hop/coffee/etc. flavors).
