Weird. I've bought beer from him before, and it was always super-reasonably priced. Mrs. Doubtfire for like $10, KBS for $6, etc.

Did I read his post correctly?
Not sure how many 375mls there are/were. I have only seen a 750ml bottle at a tasting last year and that was numbered out of 168. Not sure if the 375mls are numbered in that series or if they are labeled in a separate number series. His math of 23 6-bottle cases would be 138 so not sure where that number comes from.

I think the 375ml's are counted in the 168, but to be fair the labels are/were basically computer paper, so I don't know that the 168 is a real number. This is a 375:

One seller on there, LilyOfTheWest, seems to have a metric **** ton of old, likely well past their prime bottles for often exorbitant sums of money. Aside from the already-mentioned 2003 BCBS for $600 (formerly $1000), a few choice new additions include:

2004 DFH Festina Lente for $850:

2002 Speedway Stout 1st vintage for $200:

2002 C&C 90 Minute IPA for $275:

There's a bunch more.

Has an M for $815. That thing has ******* tanked, huh.

One sold the other day for $700. I'm kind of surprised it's value is dropping off that fast, figured there would be some people hunting it at least for the 05/05/15 10th anniversary of the beer or whatever.

$850 is a lot to pay for mildly fruity battery acid. ******* that beer was horrible.

Some beer from Prairie called "Legend": $600

But but but:

"To put things in perspective, this beer has a total of 87 unique check-ins on Untappd (with a 4.40 rating) - only 2 of those check-ins appear to be from bottles. This is a true unicorn. I've never seen this here on MBC or anywhere else."

Not gonna lie. I'd almost consider the Speedway. Always been a fan of the old school label.
