That being said, Corey seems like a nice and down to earth guy. I was pretty drunk when we spoke at Dark Lord Day (go figure) but he was humble about his beer and generally positive to be around. He also brought a nalgene of his Apple Brandy Barrel Summation which was commissioned by Florida Shitlords United or some Facebook group like that. While we were standing there drinking the beer that he brewed he started getting texts from dudes in the group who were mad that he was sharing it with people that weren't a part of the group. The fact that he doesn't tell all of those guys right where to shove it is kind of mind-boggling. His buddy tried to trade me a 4 oz pour of the AB Summation for my Group A Dark Lord ticket by stating that it was worth $100/oz on the open market. Top notch crew.

This post should be framed with "Craft Beer - 2016" as the title.

It wasn't even a bottle. He was negotiating using a 4 oz pour from a keg. The sad thing is, I was going to do it if it was a 12 oz pour so me and a couple of buddies could get 4 oz each. You know, ticking and all that.

Well, I guess there is more than one sad thing about the whole exchange.
Ok, next time this happens, you and your friends should kick each other in the nuts if you were ever to consider doing something like this.

WTF. People actually sell handbottles? I thought the only types who used them were rabid numbers-driven tickers.

No, they brought a keg of the beer with them to Dark Lord Day. He was offering to let me come over to their area to have a pour of the beer and in exchange we would swap tickets (his D for my A). I wanted to bring my buddies with because I'm not a total shitlord but he decided that giving up twelve ounces (4 oz each for me and two friends) wasn't worth it. I hope they killed the keg at least.

Ok, gotcha.

******s, clearly.

Wonder what that MBP guy was thinking. I've seen people offering to add their pseudo-3sons to get just the MBP.
Maybe both MBP trades were the same guy, a guy who happens to be a big 3Sons fan, and he's just got lotsa MBP & DG to spare.

Before we stop talking about this and move this forum back on-topic, the 2 Flagler beers + a couple FL sours closed 4:3 for MD + WA + Backyard + shipping both ways (not on BA though).

Now can someone get us back on track with a ****** BA trade offer?

EDIT: thanks MikeG

I've now seen the two Flagler stouts close for (1) 2:2 MBP + DG 3rd Anni, (2) 2:1 Assassin, and (3) the aforementioned 2:1 MD.

So I guess I'm out of the loop, but why is Flagler, which I've only ever heard of in the last few days on TB, so important? Is this some 3 Sons related ********? And are they an actual brewery, or still just a home brewery like 3 Sons?

An actual brewery, opened last weekend, the brewer is Corey of 3Sons Homebrew fame.

Same reason that Scooop went like it did. It has the 3 sons name attached to it and 3 sons makes incredible beer. It's got the hype behind it. I think the only reason people are hating on it is because a couple people came out swinging hard trying to flip the flager bottles for kbbs. And once you do that...well, we have no choice but to laugh.

So then 3 Sons is presumably no longer a thing, correct?

Corey works for a bar in SoFla called the Brass Tap. They've hired him to do some brewing at two of their bars; the Brass Tap's brewing outfit is called Flagler Village Brewing. They've agreed to let him continue raising funds/set up/amass hype for 3 Sons Brewing, which Corey states is planned to be opened 1Q17
