The bar just off campus from where I went to law school was on Bar Rescue. They only remodeled half of the bar though. The one half they worked on looked great, though they ended up ditching most of the new menu a few months later, since a lot of the dishes didn't sell well. The other half remained a dumpy looking armpit where law students went to get shithoused on $1 pints of Natty Lite.

Good times.

Why would they only remodel half the bar? Who wants to go to a bar that looks like **** on one side and nice on the other?

I was picturing a nice evening drinking chardonnay and eating bacon wrapped scallops on the nice side of the bar devolving into a drunken blackout drinking fireball and gorging on fried appetizer sampler platters on the ****** side. As you get drunker you just inch closer to the **** side.

It would actually be ******* hilarious and awesome if a place like this existed.

When you enter, you determine how shithoused you are and slide in at the appropriate spot in the continuum.

"Sir, I'm going to have to ask you and your friends to move over to the stools with the order of jalepeno poppers."

You guys actually aren't that far off. The nicer side was more for townies looking to hang out and watch a hockey game, maybe have a burger and a few Yuenglings.

The unimproved side was a bunch of ******** law students slamming cheap well drinks, shots, and Natty Lite, so they can forget about their miserable lives, then go back to the dorms and cheat on their significant others with each other. It was ****** up.

People have significant others in college?

The floor should be slopped to the **** side so as you get drunk you can't help but naturally descend to the appropriate level of drunk.

Have you lot never been into a English pub in the 80's? Snug/Lounge was always separated from the bar area. My local still had sawdust on the floor in the bar. Separate entrances, and while it was possible to go through from one side to the other thought he frosted glass door, it was not encouraged.

Flagler Village/ 3 Sons Argyle in a Barrel & Chocolate Love

*If you only have 1 of the Derivations: but have a similar quality stout or lambic to replace the other with, let me know and we can work something out.

IP St. Louis next Mon - Tue is possibility

I was just going to send this one to a buddy for a laugh. This is a good one.

I'm going to guess the number of people who can say "yes" to this is less than the number of years remaining on the connectivity status of beerindex's vas deferens.

Myself and few other fellow Floridans laugh at his offers all the time, sad thing is this is one of his better offers.

I saw someone post a haul pic on the other site, and thought "huh, never heard of that one." Then I saw this post earlier today:

https://www.beeradvocate.com/commun...md-antead-set-dg-cycle-rare-casey-etc.442644/

FT:
BA Abraxas '14
MD '15
ANTEAD Set (Regular, Cocoa, Coconut, Vanilla)
dG 3rd Anniversary
dG The Numbers
DOS Brunch
Rare '15
Regal
Casey The Cut: Balaton Cherry
Casey Family Preserve: Montmorency Cherry
Casey Dry Hopped Oak Theory
Casey Brett Loves Mosaic
Casey Oak Theory
SP Biere du Pays
SARA Saison Bernice
Tired Hands Roomarak
Tired Hands Astral Plane
Tired Hands Sticky Drippy Crystals
Mocha Wednesday
The Wanderer 2016
Neshaminy Creek BA Mudbank
Forest and Main Marius Cherry
Forest and Main Marius Peach
Forest and Main Marius Plum

I thought that was a pretty impressive FT list, but I don't tread in such realms - I assume the top 2 wouldn't go 1:1 with the Derivations listed?

Umm, wut? These went 2:1 yesterday for MD. And he's ISO 2:2 for bottles on that same level. Unless his other offers are batshit insane I don't understand how this would be a relatively good one. Of course he limits his profile so you can't easily look at his history, because why not?

Even in a ****** deal thread, Florida gonna Florida.

But then again he does have one fan.

Unless this is one of those fake posts that will "close," thus driving up the value of some beer no one's heard of.

Just a casual outsider's observation with no dog in the hunt but it seems like MD isn't trading nearly as high as it was a few months ago. I don't think a MD would close a Derivation 1:1 right now, even D3.

EDIT: Except B1. For some ridiculous reason unbeknownst to me, a 3 year old non-barreled coffee stout is still trading stupid high.

Unless this is one of those fake posts that will "close," thus driving up the value of some beer no one's heard of.

Earlier today on FB, I saw someone offering those same 2 ISO MBP or SR71. Slightly more reasonable than 2 Derivations but come the **** on.

Right, that's what I'm saying. The two Flagler bottles went 2:1 for MD, which doesn't trade as high as the bottles that that ****** is ISO, and he wants a 2:2 ratio.

If anything, based on the completed trade I quoted he should be adding just to get 1 derivation.
