We usually combine duplicate accounts rather than ban... but damn, if this is indeed his original account, I really wish someone would have caught it way back in early 2016. :(
Don't worry, Gene. I'm sure he's selling these to get enough cash to fulfill all those BIF boxes he owes.

Can we ban sausagelucas now?

To explain this a bit further as the question has been coming up lately: We ban for threats of violence, excessive personal attacks, breaking the law, and other such things. We cannot police trading, so trading issues alone will never result in a ban. While we provide tools like trade feedback to help, trading is always "at your own risk."

This is why it's SO important to leave bad feedback when bad things happen, and why we work so hard to try and prevent people from having multiple accounts. Unfortunately, lucas1801 (first account) created Saugusbrewer (second account) before we had all the technology we have now to detect duplicate accounts.

Yet he does not seem to care.

I am seething. And drinking. But also seething.

I realize this probably means nothing to most of you who know me and say, "Oh just another day ending in y."
Had you said something about the cats then yep would've just thought "oh raginasian238 doing raginasian238 things"

Yes, buoyed by the fact that he continues to use his real ******* birthday on all fake accounts he creates here.

I think we're just going to have to autoban anyone born on February 27th moving forward.

Calling these duplicate accounts sounds like he just forgot he had already had a TB account and oops created a new account. In reality, isnt this more of a pattern of create account, screw over the community, repeat? I don't know the history of lucas1801, but that's exactly what he was trying to do with vacnam, right?

That seems like intent to defraud the community to me.

Duplicate / spoof / hobby / fake / etc... regardless of the intent or nature of the accounts, the policy is consistent.

More to the point - it really achieves nothing to ban the accounts. I'd rather he come back using his existing account than create yet another one (again). Easier to keep track that way.

My thoughts summed up perfectly

I like how he posted a thread at one point in the trading help section asking what "razzles" are and then calling out profiteers as ********. Meanwhile he knows the secondary value of rare bottles and what groups to post them in. Seems like that thread was probably just an attempt to get some undeserved cred as a non-shitlord.
