Long drawn out story:
This weekend I brewed my second beer, an old strong ale. Fermentation went wild and it was pretty cool to see. Not longer after fermentation started a roommate tells me the AC unit is being replaced the next day. I immediately began to panic obviously because I dont want the beer in the hot house for the few hours the worked on the air. So I transport it to another house to be safe. Later in the day I go back to pick it up and I see that I forgot to wrap the towel I brought with me around the carboy. It was in a somewhat dark room for a whole day totally exposed to the light.
Cut to the chase:
I accidentally left my carboy uncovered for a whole day, whats the chances that it will turn out skunky?
Im trying not to freak out on this
