one week fermenting?

so i started a batch of apfelwien last monday OG 1.0735 took a sample today 10 days later an the gravity 1.001 seems awefully quick to be that low or am i just a noob

I've just started my own apfelwein, but have many cases of wine under my belt and the fast fermentation is common - it's the clearing and blending of flavors that takes forever.

taste a bit tart and very dry not to much apple
