Hey guys just picked up some old bottles from a former brewer. Not sure how old, but seem pretty old and dusty. Is it enough to soak them in hot waters and dish soap than rinse out thoroughly. I will obviously sanstar them before I bottle but is that enough to clean them out for now? Kept in boxes and not dirty or mildewy or anything like that just dusty it seems like.

My original stash came from a restaraunt with cig butts, ashes, mold, yuck!

Quick rinse to remove the solids, then soaked in ammonia/water to remove the labels.

Then washed with soap, hot water, bottle brush (important), and a scrubbie.

Then soaked in bleach/water to sanitize.

I still have most of them (but not use iodophor)!
