Anyone have a good clone of this recipe?? I have heard great things about this ale from east coast friends but can't get it here.

Millennium is brewed in the barley wine style to commemorate our 1000th batch of beer. Its generous hopping & bottle conditioning allow this beer to be cellared and enjoyed for many years.

is it the old dominion brewery in Virginia?

Sadly not anymore, they were bought and moved to Delaware a year back.

A friend of mine used to brew for them. The recipe changed a bit from year to year (it was dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin a year or two back). I think there is some honey in there as well.

Looks pretty simple, go with mostly pale, some light crystal, long boil for some color, add some honey at flameout hop moderately with some dry hops near the end of aging for aroma. OG ~1.100, probably something like 50 IBUs.

Not sure which yeast they used for it.
