Hi there everyone. I am from Utah (a little north of Salt Lake) wife and 3 kids, trying to get a business going and figured I wasn't busy enough so I thought I would take on another hobby.
Just dropping in to learn some things about brewing and hopefully some handy tricks. I tried to make some cider last spring and failed miserably. had to do it in my shed and the temps were fluctuating too much and killed it. since then I have installed a temperature controller on my spare fridge and will be using that for the majority of my brews as it is easier to control the temp and conditions that way. I currently have a lager inspired cider going that is now in its 2 day rest period before i condition it for the next 6 weeks. I will eventually bottle it but I am planning on using a keg to carb it up.
Anyway hope to get to know y'all soon enough.
