I didn't have a smart phone until last fall and got Untappd almost immediately thereafter. I'm not always good about checking beers in.

My first check-in wasn't too shabby:

Master (200): Russian River Supplication (Batch 009) - 7/31/2013

Currently at 455 distinct beers and rising quickly. I'll need to try and remember to open something special for #500.

100th: Brasserie Grain D'Orge Bezlebuth
200th: World Brews Cable Car Amber Ale
500th: St. Louis Gueuze Lambic
1000th: Bells Expedition Stout

I am ashamed of those landmark badge beer choices. Well, except for Expedition Stout. Love that beer.

Does Untappd suppress the pixel count when taking pictures? It seems like every picture I take comes out a little fuzzy and no way is my smart phone camera that bad...need that HD compatibility.

I don't believe it does. You could do an upload with Untappd and then with imgur to compare. I know it resizes but I don't think it changes resolution.

I really regret not sticking with UNTAPPD when it first came out. I remember it being so buggy & what not I deleted it after 5 or 6 months. Downloaded it a year later after I heard of the approvments made under a new username cause I forgot my original.

I have over 5k total check-ins, and over 2500 unique, but have been using Untappd for over 2 years. There aren't as many as you'd think with that many check-ins, I asked Greg when I hit 2500 (which was months ago, so this number has undoubtedly increased) and he said only ~40 people had hit it.

50th: Founders Breakfast Stout
100th: Peroni Nastro Azzurro
200th: Upright Gose
500th: Three Floyds 219
1000th: Goose Island 312
1500th: Oskar Blues Dale's Pale Ale

These aren't unique, however. I'm sitting at 916 unique and 1,575 overall.

Untappd could really use an "edit check-in" feature. So often I make some dumb, usually inconsequential but still annoying error using Swype that I don't notice until after I've posted.

EDIT: one other feature I'd really like to see is the ability to change ratings via the website. This is a nice feature in the mobile app but can take so long to do compared to how quick it would be from a full computer.

I've noticed on the Android app, only up to ten people are ever listed as "have toasted this" even if more than that actually have. For example, the Tenacious Wee I checked in earlier today has 16 total toasts, but lists only 10 people:

"Justin B, -NOA-, Bob T, Larry M and Jim and 5 others have toasted this."

Is this happening to anybody else?

I've never kept track of impending badge milestones, so I've ended up with some clunkers for sure. Opened a bottle of a Kane Brewing stout some months back that leschkie had the misfortune of being present to try, drainpour (as is his usual wont), and then check-in on Untappd. It was his "1000" badge beer. He was not pleased. Soon thereafter, he nuked his Untappd account. :oops:
