"I should have went there after ram"

Chicago Beer, 2016.

Insanity... How much IPA does one person need, especially at $20/4 pack? It seriously is like pokemon for some people - just crazy.

I overheard someone in line at Beer Temple say that they had just come back from the RAM release....Gotta tick all those hazy IPAs, brah!

There was a LINE at BT?

What in the ever-living ****? Clearly, I don't understand it. I'm glad I don't. It's probably a good beer, but I'm not waiting in line for an IPA. Or really any other beer for that matter. Here come the FT posts!

I assume he means line of 5 people waiting to pay inside the store. At least that's how it was around 11:30.

Correct. There were 6 or 7 people ahead of me. The store was packed though. And the phone was ringing off the hook with people asking the same stupid question.

I retract some of my previous statement. Carry on...

I had the first batch of cans fresh, day of. I preferred the weeks old Cromulent I picked up the same day.

I haven't had Juice is Loose and at this rate, probably never will. I've had Crunchy Groove, Cromulent, and the all Michigan bretted pale (can't remember the name) and they were all quite good. I liked Crunchy Groove the best and whenever I hit up the tap room I'll certainly pick up whatever is sitting in cans.

I know NE has it on lock down, but I have never understood waiting in line for IPA cans. I am not the target demographic though, so keep doing what you're doing, Chicago... I'll be over here sipping on some fresh ass Fist City or Lizard King.

The Brett one didn't do it for me, maybe my palate is broke but I got an off putting aftertaste, reminiscent of styrofoam. Honeystone and Crunchy Grooves were quite good.

All their hop forward beers are distinct unto themselves which I think is a testament to brewing skill. A lot of brewerys have several different hop forward beers that are only subtlety different at best.

I liked the brett can better than Cromulent (sample size 1 of each, thanks to nsh221).

If you're working Th next week and want to come by Corner Bakery again, I can give you 1 Juice and 1 of the Ram beers from today (coworker got me some).

love how I see people in Mi on various FB groups wondering why MI isn't getting any lmao

A girl on Facebook last night said "Start with who supported you first - Michigan!". Simply being informative, I let her know that the brewery was launched out of Chicago over 3 years ago and she then deleted said comment.

I was actually going to message you about meeting up next week. I have some things for you as well!

We can work out the details next week, but that would be just fine - and thank you for the offer! Very generous of you (again) to share the wealth!

Not to mention there's always a ton of stuff sitting in the taproom. If I lived closer, I'd go weekly.

I'll agree on Cromulent, but my tastes tend toward lower Abv hoppy beers. That said, the first batch of Juice finished a couple points higher than expected so it was sweeter. Next two batches were right on and this one is a point or two lower so it is slightly drier.

Not hating on your brewing skills, I've been trending away from DIPAs across the board :)

My dad always told me we were related. His second cousin or something, but that also could have just been a pick up line from his younger days that he was passing on to me. Most girls don't know who that is nowadays...
No but i feel inclined to spend even more $ with you now because of it.. so there's that..
