I'm very glad that work took me through Glen Ellyn last week so I could get some Buckley at Beer Cellar. Limit 1 is tough. I'm a big fan of this process though. Got to look at all the options and make rational choices. If only money was no object...had to pass on the Galaxy Saisons. Love em but couldn't justify the price tag with the other new bottles.

was sad about those buckley/bark lord limits until i saw the total in my cart. i wound up maxing everything except the two obeluses because i've had multiples of both of those variants and enjoyed them, but needed to prioritize the others. be still, my poor wallet.

I, too, was hoping to be able to buy 3-4 Buckley so I could share them with some folks. Half the fun of these societies is being able to share with regular trading partners. That said, being able to buy an extra of each of the membership beers is way nicer, and the whole process is just great. It's a pretty minor complaint, and I'd guess not the last time Buckley will be available.

Very much looking forward to the release this weekend.

crunchin numbers...I think about 25 cases hit distro thus far, I think about 25 were set aside for RS if it was limit one. that leaves about 50 cases. also I think the patience line was in regards to the 4 barrels filled at aqua. transients unofficial spokesman out...

We are essentially paying sales tax on bottles that Chris sells at the event. This is no different, the sales tax is itemized and makes it more apparent.

I think the "Fee" is only for those non-members trying to scam the system. They will be refunded and charged a processing fee. I don't think Beer Temple's online system charges buyers an initial fee at all.

Yeah, the concern is that for this release, the option to purchase isn't limited to specific login accounts, so people could lie and then show up and try to get the bottles. We will refund them their money, but for every transaction on the site we get charged twice - once by the credit card processor and once by eCommerce site. So in essence if a non-member tried to make a purchase thinking "what the hell" I'd have to pay four fees just to refund him. This fee just accounts for that.

If you are a member, you can ignore that part of the message.

As for sales tax - nothing I can do. The man has to get his piece.

Yes, the 1 bottle barkley/bark lord is rough, but I'm more bummed at limit 1 on Cherry Pentameter. The base beer is out of this world. I was hoping to snag more than just 1 bottle of cherry. Looks like I won't be sharing it with any trading partners.

Seriously, Pentameter is drinking phenominal right now. I had it next to b5 Flora this weekend and they were strickingly similar.

I'm hoping one of the bottles at the release will be Cherry Pentameter. Would like to try it fresh and with time.

Reg Pentameter is phenomenal

For $135 you will receive:
6 bottles of barrel aged beer
Entrance for you and a guest to our release event
Transient Shirt
2 Fancy Transient Glasses (like, really fancy this time)
Canvas 6 bottle carrier
First right to purchase extra bottles and to rejoin for the following session

I don't remember what the price was for previous iterations but didn't we get 8 beers + a growler in addition to all the same swag? Is the price the same or a little cheaper for this next go-around since we're getting less bottles?

it's about $40 less than the last one, which is about right for 2 bottles and a growler.

I'm still focused/excited on what "like, really fancy" is gonna mean.
