Blauw is 3F...Zwanze is Cantillon...I was under the impression they didn't exactly agree on much...It was 10 or so bottles at a Zwanze Day a few years back.

Blauw labeled as oude gueuze? Crazy.

According to the homie BucketBoy Joe:Blauw is 3F...Zwanze is Cantillon...I was under the impression they didn't exactly agree on much...
According to the homie BucketBoy Joe:
It was Zwanze day at Monk's bar, not at Cantillon, so I don't think any relationship between the breweries was a big issue in the context. Monks rewarded the first-comers who had waited outside with bottles for purchase at the door. Blauw had been packaged in OG bottles so that Tom could sell them to-go legally since the label was not cleared. After the 5-10 Blauws were gone, Malvasia '02 bottles were sold to the next X # of guests.

Certainly not cheap and something we do very rarely, but with this many people involved it helps defray some of the cost. Also helps to have gotten bottles a few years ago when they were "relatively" cheaper or to have connections to lambic for more reasonable prices/trades.Do these shares cost thousands of dollars? Or what?
Killing it, per always.![]()

Man, that SAM looks so, so, so disgustingly bad. Was the 3F mag '04? Cannon or dud?
Did you guys enjoy the Scoop-a-loop? I want to hate that beer for what it represents but I keep hearing it is awesome.

4-6 ounces is about all I'd be able to handle.I enjoyed scoop a lot. I've had it twice in the past month and I think it's the real deal. Like Brian said though, it is sweet.
