Good tasting with buddies met through what used to be a good community but am glad they're all on this site now.

Blind taste test I set up tonight for my local beer group, post-reveal:



1. Harpoon UFO Raspberry Hefeweizen
2. Lost Coast Raspberry brown ale
3. Indian Wells Raspberry ale (!)
4. Dark Horse Raspberry ale
5. Founders Rubaeus

Not surprisingly, Indian Wells Raspberry Ale was the loser (many thanks to fletch for providing me with this gem), and Founders Rubaeus was the winner. Somewhat surprisingly, Harpoon UFO Raspberry Hefeweizen placed a solid 2nd.

I preferred Herfst. The Lente had some mold chunks and the cork was just crusty chunky nastiness. Sad

Best Fantome I've ever had. Nice citrus floral flavor with minimal smoke.
