Here's the results of the tasting i hosted last weekend. Jbuddle, SpeedwayJim, Totoropanda, Sean9689, Jrallen, BucketBoy and I had a bit of a "Retirement" tasting (at least for the NY crew) over the weekend, which Sean aptly named the "F**K Yo Passport Tasting". Thanks to Sean, Jason and Joe for traveling to pop these bottles with us. This was one of the craziest whale hunts ever, thanks to everyone in the group for helping to land these bottles!

Opinions about which were the best were varied. The Reeds (especially the Muscat) were a big hit. The Pikku, Loerik and Zwanze 08 were also favorites. The Bullfrog bottles were fantastic. I think people are going to go crazy over the upcoming releases. The One Pint bottles were better than I expected. Most of us thought their reputation for being extremely sour was justified.

Why the Tilquin hate? I think they make a great everyday gueuze.

The tilquin quetsche is god awful. Drain poured a 375ml. I do like their regular gueuze though.

I must've lucked out. My 375 was generously carbonated and tasted amazing. A big fan of the plum.
