We're down the street from you! Let me know if you're gonna swing by and I'll meet you down at Wren!
Well crap. Wish I had more notice. I’m over in the east valley. Can’t make it over tonight. How long are you here?
We actually swung by Wren shortly after landing - I’m not 100% sure whether I’ll get much more flexible time during this trip, but Wednesday night is a possibility. Will let you guys know!

Looking forward to heading y’alls way for the first time tonight. Airbnb is close to Old Town Scottsdale—any particular restaurants (any type of food) or liquor stores I should check out?

We will be at the WM Open Friday and Saturday so not much free time there, but Sunday I have all day so definitely want to check out Wren House and the Wandering Tortoise. Appreciate any help!

Wren's got a release Saturday morning...if you cant make it, shoot me a PM and I'll save you a 4 pack. Not sure about food in old town. Honestly, one of my favorite places is Houston's like 5 mins north of old town but expect a wait...especially with the open in town. Most good places are going to be a long wait. Eat early (or super late).

Edit* Scapegoat looks good and Bandera in old town has some solid food. Citizen Public House is nice but a little pricey. Craft 64 is a big local beer bar and I've heard the pizza is good. If you're over by Wren/Tortoise and you need food check out Santisima or Tacos Chiwas

Brat Haus in Old Town is a good option, could also travel a few miles south to McFate Brewing. Stay away from Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers, trust me.

so, I have two tickets to the strong beer fest that I will not use. if anyone wants them, let me know

Brief stint in town this weekend, thrilled to see Phoenix Down is still available at Wren. Perfect beer for this weather (been living in California too long, pretty sure I might get heatstroke by Sunday). Jomax is also delicious, glad to finally get to try that

I’ll be bringing my own brand of heat intolerance to Tempe this week.

if anyone has any suggestions where I might find some syrupy imperial stouts I’m all ears!

ha wrong time of year for the desert!

are you looking for a bottle shop? I like liquor express, apache just west of mcclintock, south side of the road

but, I believe wren house still has a number of various barrel-aged bottles/cans left, for onsite consumption. if you are interested I would happily meet you there

Hitting up Wren on Tuesday the 28th on my way up to the cabin in Oak Creek. Anything happening? What would be the best beer shoppe to hit on my way north out of town? Reading the thread it seems Kings is a good bet. Ideally I would love to track down a case of Full Nelson cans...ideas?

Thanks everyone!

Edit: I'll be at Wren around 12-1, if anyone wants to set up a swap. Lots of lambic access in Canada...

Hey! I was just at Kings and they had some Project Dank but havent seen Full Nelson around. You can hit Wandering Tortoise after Wren since they carry a bunch of La Cumbre.

We've got a double can release on Saturday (Spellbinder + Good Boy Wally) I can set a couple aside if youre into that. Are you stopping on the way back? Theres a Rye IPA hitting next weekend that I think is the best IPA we've made so far...
