The yeast, wyeast 1084, isn't really for just Irish ale . I bought it to make a Bells' two hearted clone. It can be used for any stout, pale or IPA, scottish... Dry at low temps, fruity at 64 and up.
If your looking for a good Irish ale (Smithwicks) recipe, Northern brewer has a kit, they give ingredients, that is very nice.
I'm really not looking for a batch to take home, just supplying yeast. If there are any extras, however, I won't say no.
