Btw, any info forthcoming on the new De Cam Nectarine Lambiek? E.g. bottle count, batches (if more than one), etc.

I would have had the latest Namur for you too but I drank it and promptly forgot to take a picture of the label.

New bottle date for Oude lambiek, bottled on the Bth day of January 2016.

Weird can't seem to find the bottle logs for this beer?

It was all brewed in January of 2009. Even the bottles labeled 2016. Karel just ran out of accurate labels for their 2009 stock and had to use some others.

Hanssens Cassis Frambozen Lambic

Asked Tom Cadden who used to manage The Rake about this as they got one of allegedly only two casks that ever left the blendery. It was a test batch which was then abandoned. John Matthys felt it was too acetic apparently.

It has since passed into London ticker legend for being brutally sour.

Hey guys, need some help identifying the age of a bottle given to me. Oude Lambiek from De Cam. Bottle date on the back is 10.2000 but blacked out so I'm guessing they ran out of labels. You guys seem to have this kind of thing figured out. Any idea?

That label on the back is also an Oude kriek one :) But yeah I can't really help you, I never could make any sense of De Cam dating and labeling.

Thanks for that though :) this is one of the oldest bottles I've ever had had and the other one the date structure was pretty well known, so everything you said was news to me :)

There's a queue of people yet from the past couple of days. Likely we haven't gotten around to stalking your profile to makes sure it's not a fake account. :p

I'm sure they're all just looking for info on the best webshops to buy Fou and/or general lambic shitlordery. Skip 'em and approve me!

So really? No additional info on that bottle or something I could look into next?
