From a post in the FB Lambic Lovers group: 2/3 Iris, 1/3 50°N Blended just for Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Italian Beer Week-end
From what I understand, a lot of American brewers understand the Alstroms reputation and agree with that they are **** lords....but they also respect the additional business that BA can bring them, so nothing is done. The "beer community" whatever the **** that is needs to kick out the Alstrom's. ******* **** Lords.

Ban the **** lords from ever stepping foot on their property is about the only thing they could do. Which I would naturally applaud and drink all their beer even if it's ******.I mean, they run a legal website with user created content. It's not like brewers could do anything even if they wanted to.... unfortunately.

Haven't ran into these notches before.. is it really a 2003 orrrrrrrrrr....?
Yes..?This a U.S. bottle or European?
Sweet! When my wife lets me ship beer again you can have one if you want for being the only helpful bloke in here!I think you're looking at an 03 because I have ones bottled in 13 with a different dating system.
So at the Wild Friendship thing at RRBC yesterday, Jean served what he described as Grand Cru 4-year lambic aged in cognac barrel. The term "Grand Cru" had me thinking it was Bruocsella, but I guess that's not the case.
http://www.lambic.info/Cantillon_Cognac_Lambic doesn't seem to match his description.
The menu says "Cantillon Grand Cru 4 Year-old Lambic." The cognac barrel was from JVR's description. Was there a written description or just his verbal explanation?
Not certain, perhaps someone else can chime in.Was it in bottles or keg? The thing with that cognac lambic entry is that it's sort of a catch all right now for all instances where lambic aged in cognac barrels appears.
