Just had a recent batch and kind of felt the same. The last batch I had about a year ago seemed like it had a bit more lambic influence. Maybe give it more time? Or maybe they just cut back the lambic portion and blamed the economy?

So I don't know how recent you guys are discussing, but this is a 2014 bottle (date code says "LS140R14"). Front says 1 year old lambic, but no mention of Cantillon.

Thanks ASak10 and sherm1016 , great information. So it looks like the 2014 bottle dropped the mention of Cantillon or is a difference in US vs. non-US labeling? I could dig into the TTB website and check. Did bottles pre-2013 say Cantillon as well? I've actually never even had this beer :(

2013 definitely said Cantillon in the U.S.

Last bottle I had I bought last summer (had no mention of 'loons on the front) and it funked up pretty good as of a few months ago. Maybe the Cantillon juice switched to something more obtainable? Can't find any pictures but I thought it said Cantillon on the back label.

Net contents (volume) is required for TTB label approval. http://www.ttb.gov/pdf/brochures/p51903.pdf

Yeah, but I'm not sure a separate label approval is required for each size variant. In some cases there are two labels for two sizes in the database and in others there aren't. I think maybe they just blanket approve one and so long as there are no major changes/revisions then a new approval isn't necessary.

Yeah that's likely a case by case thing. I just know every bottle is supposed to state a volume. But I bet there's a good few that have gotten away without it.

Earlier today I noticed someone was searching for Loterbol Tuverbol on the site. We had been planning a page to document the many commercially released beers that are blended with Belgian Lambic. I just created the initial page and now we'd like your help filling it in! Listed below is a link to a Google Spreadsheet where people can help these beers in. As beers are added, we will continue to update the Lambic.Info page. Please fill in as much information as possible and leave any pertinent notes. Cheers!

Editable spreadsheet

This is the first of many crowd research projects that we hope to do through this project. Together, we have a wealth of knowledge about lambic, and the hope is that we can pull it together and help continue to centralize this information.

i'm 99% sure that this was me, and i was about to post a question about it because i really had no idea what tuverbol actually was but i forgot. thanks for your diligence!

Quatz did us a huge favor and translated the labels for De Heeren Van Liedekercke 20th and Crianza Helena.

Here is the big translation for the 20th Anniversary Blend with our emphasis added in italics, and the left side is on the site as well:

Today Liedekerke is an urbanized town, but the surrounding area once spoke to people’s imagination. Early medieval charters (900-1100) that speak about our local history already mention ‘De Heeren van Liedekercke’ (The Lords of Liedekercke). For more than 500 years this castle and its ‘heeren’ (lords) have played a role in the history of Flanders that should not be underestimated. Unfortunately, it was often besieged, and its complete demise started with the French Revolution. At the gate of this once renowned castle now lays ‘De Heeren van Liedekercke’! The festive opening of a beer bar by Joost and his parents Erik and Agnes in 1991 was a new milestone in its history and this in a time where beer wasn’t hyped yet. A beer menu with 30 kinds of beer was already extraordinary,… at ‘De Heeren van Liedekercke’ you could taste more than 200! Thanks to brother Tom – who passionately integrates the beer in different courses – the kitchen soon evolved into a beer kitchen. He achieved honorary positions in several competitions and has won gastronomic awards. On September 1st 2011, ‘De Heeren’ had existed for 20 years… but the lords are only strong because of their ‘dames’. Joost married Jessie (2003), Tom married Els (2011), and Helena (2008) gives us all strength to continue on the same path. Sister Annemie adds something special to our image with her lay-out and her art. After 20 years, ‘De Heeren van Liedekercke’ are once again well-known, this time on the international beer scene. The beer menu grows to more than 400 selections. On the occasion of the 10 year anniversary, the first ‘bierfeesten’ (beer festival) was organized. Lambic beers are the specialty of ‘De Heeren’. In 2010 we were recognized for this by winning the very first ‘Gouden Lambikstoemper’ award. ‘De Heeren’ and lambic are celebrating their porcelain anniversary today but each of us has a long and individual history. A beer tavern with that kind of tradition and background deserves a beer with a strong story. That is why lambic is the base of this artisanal birthday geuze. Are you familiar with our other creations? Heerenbier (1993), Cuvée J&J (2003), Sodalitas, the beer that creates friendships (2005), Crianza Helena (2008), Superblend (2011) and now this Anniversary blend (2011). ‘De Heeren’, this is tasting and discovering. Beautiful moments are experienced here. Enjoy this new beer; enjoy yourself often at ‘De Heeren’. Cheers!

TTB allows you to make some changes to an already approved label without filing for a new approval. Changing the net contents is expressly permitted, but adding something like "Thanks to Jean from Cantillon Brewery" would likely require a new approval.

Over in the facebook group we are working on project. We have a very incomplete bottle log for 3 Fonteinen Oude Kriek and we'd like everyone's help to fill it in. If you have any bottles and could check dates and post them w/ the size or any other notes it'd be a big help! You can also check the bottle log on the page to see what's missing. Pictures of the dates would be also be appreciated! If the months aren't written out, the dating on the bottle is DD/MM/YYYY. Thanks!

LOL. Someone on BA was asking about Framboos vintages so I linked them to the Framboos page on lambic.info. Post got deleted. God forbid someone get some actual useful information on there. That place is so ******* annoying, I don't know why I bother.

You're not the only one. All references are being removed. They want the only source of information about beer to be them (well, that or they know that SeaWatchman is involved).
