That's awesome ! He is a nice dude! Does a good job with that shop.
I have never been able to make it in there before they close, I am so glad I made it in. Besides the guy being awesome and helpful and patient. The selection was fantastic for the size of the place too, nothing cramped or disorganized.

Got a small box of some Cali beers.

Nope, I walked into Lager Mill near closing while my GF and friend looked at the gift shop in Zehnders. Got to talking to the dude that runs it after I found some 3F Gueuze and Hiver on the shelf and told him I have been dying to find one now that it is here, he then asked "Got $25?" to which I replied "**** yeah I do." He handed it to me and said Merry Xmas. He was helping another bottle shop colleague. Made my ******* year! This has been my top want forever and he kindly hooked me up without jumping through hoops.
Nicest guy. Let us take wedding photos inside the museum. We met him at 4elf one year. Love that place.

itt: Michigan beer miracles happen for thunderbirdesq

meanwhile in PA, bottleshop owners secretly gather to agree upon what the next level of obnoxious price per oz they can get away with while still making the customer feel lucky for having been selected as the chosen ones to be granted the distinct privilege to buy 8 month old hopslam

I'm sorry :(

no need to be sorry. Its awesome to see good things happen to some people and even cooler to see the joy and excitement it brings

those kinda stories dont happen frequently enough
I was told recently by a very good trade partner in PA how difficult it is to buy decent beer/booze. It is a shame, tons of amazing beers being made there though.

It isn't. It's just expensive. Very expensive.

The shop I work at just got Fou. We are selling it for $40 and only to select regulars we decided to tell. And yet in PA that seems like honestly a good deal

Split a purchase on MyBeerCellar (I know, I know) with a friend and we landed this beautiful 12-shipper for only $120:

Another great box from SSTroller arrived this morning. I heard the hooves of the FedEx reindeer on the room this morning, checked on the porch and it was Christmas come early!

Transient Maigre Blackberry

This was easily the largest sized box that has ever hit my porch. Davepool packed this thing above and beyond anything reasonable. These are the safest hops that will ever be delivered. Cans for me and bombers to share. What a time to be alive. Christmas came early for me this year. Snuck in a few exciting new ticks and he really snuck in those bourbon tasters. Cheers to a great 2015! Thank you sir!

FedEx doesn't mess around in your neighborhood around Christmas, huh? Can't believe how early it was delivered.

The growler is Half Acre's Gin BA Pony Pilsner. Thought you would enjoy something a little different than an IPA from them. I tried to fill in some Transient gaps from the box beersis81 sent you. So you should have just about every bottle from the last release (a BA Henry would've been in there too if it didn't turn infected :(). And the White Lodge and glass is from TB's own levifunk (Funk Factory Geuzeria).
Hope you enjoy everything Adam!
