welp got my beats. It was absolutely absurd how terrible the release was run though. I hate this brewery (though i love temptation and can never have enough of it).

Russian River is known for running horrible releases. Compared to the last years, it sounds like this one was relatively good order-wise (last year people didn't know where to go), but painfully slow (just how RR likes it).
I read from here http://www.talkbeer.com/community/threads/bay-area-thread.1300/page-208
And as I suspected the idiots there were doing this: http://www.talkbeer.com/community/threads/bay-area-thread.1300/page-209#post-791769 (selling things other than Beat at the Beat point of sale).
And apparently they had to run credit cards inside and occasionally their only payment processing tablet due to weak WiFi.
Either asses or *********.

Kind of a haul -- they were mine, but left in a stash in Seattle I haven't visited in 3-4 years and can't remember most of what's in there. Two of the ten boxes just showed up:

Highlights include a b4 Temptation (!!), a couple 09 Perfect Storms, and a pile of C&C La Folies and Bottleworks Xs. The Consecrations are 001x1 and 002x3, Alaskan Barleywine is 2007, and the Logsdons is an early-batch Seizoen Bretta.

It was a good weekend for me and a tough weekend for my porch.

That 2010 Bourbon Abominable is what I am eyeballing. If you want to let it go then #hitmeupbro

Alright, I don't post here a lot, and I'm sure the majority of you have probably had all of these beers, but I am on cloud nine after the beer day I just had.

It started with ATG's Citra Ass Down while a buddy and I were hunting for Casey beer. Then, discovered a few hours later that Mr. B's (Denver) had actually dropped a bunch of Casey, of which I scored 2 Fruit Stands, and 1 East Bank. After that hit I CS later in the day for the Nightmare on Apple Whiskey & Sin Frontera (Bourbon Barrel Aged). Hung there for awhile and drank a bunch of amazing Stave beers (Blackberry Dark Origins!!!). I stopped back at Mr. B's for a sixer of Station 26 "Citra" which I saw had been released. It was only then that I realized there was actually Jester King on the shelf, in Denver, and I needed to have one of each. Like I said, I'm sure tons of you have had these beers, but it was a great day of beer drinking/hunting for a person who doesn't trade at all, and only drinks local.

I really don't understand these types of pictures. Unless you've brought a ton of beer back for your friends (in which case this isn't really your haul and was clearly posted for no purpose other than dick swinging), there is no way you could ever drink all of these beers before they begin to seriously degrade in quality. Sorry to snap at you specifically, but these types of pictures always rub me the wrong way.

Is there any other point to the Official Hauls thread than dickswinging?

Also I would be seriously stunned if anyone purchased that much hop forward beer without intending to share it around to friends / family / trading partners / etc...

My $.02.
