I feel that it is very exceptional.

I have thought of trading for Citra but I can get double citra, ephraim and abner regularly so I guess I'm all set

Is the Kern River Citra really as glorious as I have been lead to believe?

I felt it was a lot better before they went to a new brewing system. Since then the beer has gotten darker, suggesting a recipe change. That and the effort to get it have made me stop chasing it.

I had a bottle from the last release and was not impressed. Glad a regular trading partner sent me one and I didn't fork over the asking price. Don't get me wrong it was good but not worth what people were asking. Might be that my expectation were high based on the FT:ISO.

It's pretty darn good, but so is the the beer formerly known as 5th Anniversary/currently known as Winter Ale. In fact, I think I prefer the latter, though you can't lose either way.

Just got this from boomboxlos. He asked if I wanted an extra Atrial he had gotten. He wanted to offer it to me first because I hooked him up with an UJ in an earlier trade. Cool dude!! Didn't have to do that for sure!
