I mentioned in the TB Secret Santa thread that I liked the Mead X label when I saw someone drinking it, and I got a message that someone would be happy to help me out.

Thanks to factory for sending me this wiltznucs Garagiste bottle label that I wanted!
It looks like some diagrams that describe part of my work. And he was kind enough to send along some friends to keep it company on its trip to Austin. Thanks man!

Fresh Trop will soon be mine.

Some background on the Mead X for you (both the mead and the label)

Some time ago we asked that you vote for a mead to bring back. The votes came in to resurrect Triple Black. I took some liberty with the old recipe changing from black cherries to a mix of tart cherries. We also tripled the amount of fruit used and skipped aging it on oak.

The result is very reminiscent of the Black Widow. Thick and inky with dark fruit, vanilla undertones and a big vinous finish. We named it Mead X in honor of my career on Radiology.

Kudos to Ryan for the label. I wanted to say a little send off to my previous career and sent him the schematic of an X-Ray tube. As you can tell, he took some liberties too.

Forgot to post my LIF box from theMang here! This was from his Thanksgiving LIF.

In addition to all the awesome goodies he mentioned in the original post... Zwanze shirt, Cigar City tote, Jester King bottle opener, DDG teku, B-cup (which, for the uninformed like myself, is a PLASTIC IPA glass-- drinking IPAs like a pro while camping this summer)... he included beer and bourbon samples!

All new for me! I've been wanting to try some new bourbons lately. Thanks again, theMang! I'll be sure to run a LIF in the new year. Will probably wait til weather is safe for shipping .
