Dude have you ever been in Blue Heron? You can walk around and graze on 100 different mustards and jellies with pretzel stick dippers. It's a good time.

They've also had the biggest apples I've ever seen in my life. Like ******* cantaloupes....

Edit: I don't think we're even remotely talking about the same thing

You people probably go into a place like Baileys, ask to taste 10 different beers, then leave.
Never. I always feel bad when i ask a bartender how something is and they give me a taste.
I always buy a taster at belmont station. Never just a taste, even though, that's just mostly what i want.

I'll be visiting from SF on 4/20. Should be at DG at opening if anyone wants to share some on-site treats. HMU.

If anyone could hook me up with one of these I'd greatly appreciate it. In addition to paying for the glass I'll kick in an extra donation.

EDIT: link might not be working - new Bu glass is $20, 6pp, all proceeds go to a local animal charity, United Paws of Tilamook.

Nectarine Premier is the new favorite. dimensionx was kind enough to send me an older vintage, pre-new bottle shape. Waited a whole 6 hours to drink it from getting it. Cracked it and immediately put it in the sink. Have a good track record of getting some pre-tillajaculate. Fruit is still there and gets better as it warms as well as the wine barrels. Super well balanced and drinks beautifully

As usual TB is the best, thanks for the hookup Tlo4sho!

Via JK's blog....

"On a less positive note, this Saturday’s lineup was supposed to also include the release of Elements of Composition — our collaboration with De Garde and Sante Adairius Rustic Ales. Sadly, the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission(TABC) has not approved this beer for Texas. TABC’s position is that an out of state brewery licensed in Texas cannot collaborate with a Texas brewpub. They consider such a collaboration a violation of the three tier system. Jester King is officially licensed as a brewpub in Texas and is considered a retailer. De Garde is considered a manufacturer. Thus, TABCbelieves a three tier violation exists."
