Off Flavor Dx Please

I brewed a 5Gal Dunkel (AG) on 9/5/10, made a large 6L starter (following Mr. Malty), 2 week ferm, 2 week secondary, and has been lagering @ 33F for 3 weeks. I am getting a cidery maybe apple flavor as an after note. Could this be a "green" beer thing and I need to wait more (ugh!). :mug:

Yeah, it's still green. It's only been lagering for 3 weeks. You could try to use gelatin and see if that speeds things up. In my experience, as long as there is no significant sulfur odor, gelatin cuts down my lagering time. YMMV.

what happens to the gelatin? does it sink or swim? i ask bc right now my beer is kegged.
