Concerned as I've reslanted all of my existing slants. These include Cullercoats, direct from England, and Wyeast 1469, 1028, 1098, 2206, 2124 and 2787. Photo below:
I don't know that I've ever seen them develop with this color before, and am concerned somehow I've got an issue with significant contamination and cross-contamination. I do use aseptic technique, at least the same one I've used in 30+ years of doing this. All agar slants get pressure cooker at 15 psi x 45 minutes. Don't think it's in play, but I did make a stiffer agar wort this time - 4 g/100 ml wort. Thoughts?
