So I have a few odds and ends laying around that are very similar to a wheat recipe. Would love some help with getting a decent beer out of it.

Ingredients:
Flaked wheat and caramunich steeping grains (From BM dirty blonde kit)
6lbs wheat LME
2lbs Extra Light DME
1oz hallertau (60 min)
1oz Citra (20 min)

I would need to get some yeast too, thinking wyeast 4944 Belgian wit.

Any thoughts on the recipe would be greatly appreciated!

What he’s saying is you won’t get any fermentable sugars from the flaked wheat if you don’t do a partial mash with some base malt.

Could you pick up a 1lb of base malt (probably Pilsn with what you are going for) and do a mini mash?

Flaked wheat without another grain with diastatic power will get you better heading, mouthfeel, and starch haze. If you want clear beer you do need a base malt. JMHO
