obscene styles

i might start brewing larger batches (10-15 gal) and want to know if these styles have been touched on/are possible;

champagne bourbon oatmeal stout
Imperial wheat champagne
triple bock syrah

ive always been interested in blending styles, and seeing as though Deus is such a bomb ass beer, i was wondering how crazy i would have to be to try these things.
just be sure that im not afraid to mess up and just want opinions.

I like beer and sometimes wine.

Not both at the same time.

I think making beer taste like wine like is blasphemy. Unless you are Belgian!!!

Take any beer and add 2-4lbs of sugar

Munich Helles + 2lbs sugar + 1/2 gal white grape juce = Helles Riesling

Wisconsin Lager + 2lbs sugar + 1/2 gal concord grape juice = Milwaukee Cold Duck

French Saison + 2lbs sugar + 1/2 gal peach grape juice = Saison La Peache

I recently made a grape beer. The grainbill started with something that looked like an ESB and I added 3 cans of Welch's concord concentrate. I fermented the whole thing with Montrachet. Yes, very weird and experimental but it's a nice drinkable beer.

I liked that beer, it seemed more like a basic pale ale than anything else. I certainly liked it more than the Weizenbock. Bleh!:cross:

I have also been tempted by this idea (although I have never tried it). I think you are on the right track starting with the Dues idea...

During the holidays, I tasted La Barberie's Chardonnay Blond Ale, and was pleasantly surprised!

I have no clue how they brew it, but it tasted somewhat like a belgian strong al, although less heavy on the mouthfeel, with a late taste of chardonnay that was refreshing and not too overpowering at all.

Maybe you could give this style a shot ?

I've done an American Wheat that I racked to secondary on some Riesling concentrate. There are a few threads, reviews on it. I think if you search "Riesling Wheat" you should get a few hits.
