Where's all the Pat fans??

3 measly field goals? That's it??

Wow.. What a way to keep the ball rolling into the playoffs... Good thing they have a bye the first round after putting up that stinker.

So does this make the Bills an elite team now that they have beaten what may end up being both Super Bowl teams this year??

Let's see... The Pats sat everyone who had so much as a hangnail, had Gronk safely packed in bubble wrap somewhere in the Gillette Stadium basement, played a vanilla, soft defense, and only played the starters that were active for half of the game. Oh, and they came out with 0 significant injuries from the day as a result.

Yup. I'm _super_ worried over the fact that, under those circumstances, the Pats dropped a completely meaningless game.

Simple answer: They weren't playing for anything. They clinched division and home field a week ago. Other teams had something to play for or votes for MVP. Practicing bad acting/hobbling around like they had a hatchet in their calf.

trash talking him? Lang was turned down field!!

Yeah you are right. He had a hold of Suh's jersey as both were turning and starting up the field. I thought he was pushing him and trash talking at the same time, but on another look I can see that both of them were focusing at the area of the ball immediately after the throw. The first replay I saw was zoomed in on the feet and I wasn't looking at the whole play.

This better replay shows how soon it happened after AR got knocked down. Looks like Suh barely had time to gain his balance after the push.

I don't know. He *may* have intended on stepping on him, it just doesn't look malicious to me. Whatever. I can't read his mind and it didn't look bad. I will let the league decide. It doesn't matter too much either way for me. Nobody got hurt. It wasn't a stomp and Suh wasn't even looking where he was stepping. There wasn't even a flag and you KNOW the refs were watching. They always do when a QB goes down. I just don't think it was a big deal. Obviously he's got a target on his back, that he painted himself.

Wow. Suh is banned for the Lions (one and only) playoff game. Not much double, I don't think, that his stepping on Rodgers was intentional. But if he didn't have such a history of this kind of nonsense there's no way he would have been banned. This is payback for years of being a dirty-ass clown-thug.

He's still got an appeal. I really double they will reconsider, but it's worth a shot.

The timing is important here, and I don't think the league will postpone any punishment at this point, and I doubt they will consider a fine in place of a suspension. He's got money to burn.

You DO have your eyes open, right?

When you take a step back and feel something other than turf under your feet, most NORMAL people will look behind them to see what they are stepping on. NOT step off, take ANOTHER step back and shift their weight. Especially when he is pushed off and doesn't bother to look behind him and acknowledge Rodgers. He KNEW what he was doing.

Have you ever played FOOTBALL? You have adrenaline flowing. Everything is happening fast!

It's not like relaxing with your morning coffee, then getting up casually and accidently stepping on your cat. You would know right a way that you stepped on Fluffy.

But, if someone broke into your house and tried to assault you. In the heat of the moment, adrenaline flowing, would you remember or even realize that you steeped on fluffy?

I don't think he did it intentionally... he knows he has a large target on his back.

Yup. Played 10 years of football. Also been in very intense/adrenaline filled situations (Iraq) and have been VERY aware of what I was doing. In fact you are almost ultra sensitive to what is going on around you.

Worst analogy ever ... of anything...in the world.

I have a lot of respect for you! Thanks for your input.

I wonder who's going to pick him up after his contract expires this year.

California penal league?

I mean... is there any doubt?

Jesus Miami....you gave Geno a perfect QB rating yesterday AND ended the season with loss to the Jets for the 2nd year in a row. I think the wrong head coach is being fired....

Freakin' amazing right? Our DC is to blame though, that's scheme. Don't know that keeping Philbin was a good idea, but no ****in' way Ryan keeps his job because he beat Miami. Talk about meaningless.

That was nice of Russell Wilson to restructure his contract to give the Seahawks more money to spend in the off season. Oh wait, it was Brady that did that?

Yeah because Seattle hasn't got their money's worth out of that guy yet. And, at least he had the decency to divorce his wife before crushing airhead models in their butts
