The Seahawks were 26th in the NFL last year in passing yards and they're 31st this year....
(Number 4 in rushing last year and number 1 this year.. Which is weird... Cuz... Ya figure with how awesome Russell Wilson is, they would take advantage and throw more. Ohhhhh, i get it, they don't want too score TOO many TDs. Got it.)
And for that, they get to pay the awesome QB that put up those huge numbers a tanker truck of money this off-season and they're gonna lose their top RB next year.
Sounds like a SOLID plan... I wish the Pats could get a guy like Schneider.
You're ignoring the 754 rushing yards and 5 rushing TDs Wilson has so far this season. Passing wise, he's 2,897 yards / 18 TDs / 6 INTs. ****, I'd take those numbers in a heart beat.
The Seahawks are a run-first team with a great defense. Wilson's value is that he keeps opposing defenses honest so that they can't focus on just shutting down Lynch to keep Seattle for winning. When they put Wilson on a bootleg he's either getting a 1st down or completing a pass for 15 - 20 yards down the field. He rarely makes very bad decisions, but he needs to reduce his fumbles.
What happens when an offense is one dimensional and the opposing defense schemes against it perfectly? (hint: Superbowl 2012).
